Influences, musical or otherwise: I grew up listening to stuff like the Beatles, Abba, The BeeGees, Thomas Dolby, Simple Minds, The Cure, Madness, Tears for Fears, etc. Now I listen to just about anything that speaks to me. I really like The Postal Service - they are my current favorite band.

Musical Artist(s) or genre that many don't know you like: I like a lot of 40's big band stuff - George Gershwin, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Etta James, and the like.
