Name: Dawn

Function: Siren, luring the masses in so the droids can take over with a little less struggle.

Other Bands/Projects: I've worked with Subliminal Self, Brian Shepherd of Decadent, Payle, and Lestat. Now, I mostly just go to school, and am working toward a degree in voice performance. Along those lines, I've performed in a couple fully-staged operas, including Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro, Donizetti's L'eliser di Amor, and Puccini's Suor Angelica. I'm currently working on Mozart's Die Zauberfloete, and also toying with a couple of really cool pieces Mike Tofu of DarkCleveland gave me. Otherwise, I'm Missile Command's bitch. ~;)

Favorite Drink: Coffee, preferably with caramel; White Russians.

Favorite Book: I love a LOT of books, but most recently Stephen Chbosky's Perks of Being a Wallflower moved me to tears. It's such a beautiful story, if not entirely heartbreaking.

Quote: "A little is a lot when it's in the right spot."

Favorite movie or TV show robot: Well, I don't know about TV robots (I don't watch television), but I'm digging the robot named "Andy" in Stephen King's Wolves of the Calla.

Influences, musical or otherwise: This list is tremendous. I grew up listening to anything from Debbie Boone *blush* to Pink Floyd to Donna Summer. Eventually I came across the Cocteau Twins, Kate Bush, Dead Can Dance, Delerium, Miranda Sex Garden...there's just so much great music out there, it's hard to narrow it down.

Musical Artist(s) or genre that many don't know you like: Disco, Peter Gabriel, Kylie Minogue

Current favorite local artists, aside from Missile Command: Since I haven't been in Cleveland but occasionally in the past couple years, I don't know if I'm qualified to answer this. I enjoyed White Chapel and 20goto10 the few times I heard them. If I'd been asked this a couple years ago, I'd probably say Furnace St.

Dream Job: Living comfortably by making music in ANY manner would be marvelous.

Favorite Video game: heh, Pong, with Centipede running a close second.
